Mission BBQ Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

I wanted to share with you the story of MISSION BBQ-who we are, what we do, and why we do it.  MISSION BBQ was founded by 2 best friends from Maryland who share a love of BBQ and more importantly, love of country. We opened our doors on September 11, 2011-on purpose. Exactly 10 years after our world changed, MISSION BBQ was determined to change it back and remind people we live in the greatest Country on earth, and what makes it so great are our Heroes.  We define a Hero as anyone who swears to protect, serve, and save the rest of us, whether they do it in their community our for our country. A portion of everything we do stays in our communities by aligning with local Police, Fire, and Military Charities. Our walls are adorned with priceless pieces of art-patches and pictures that tell the stories of our Heroes!  At 12pm, in every MISSION BBQ, we shut down our kitchens, everything comes to a halt, and we All Rise for the playing of our National Anthem...because we can.  All our food is homemade. We use no freezers and no microwaves. Our meats are dry rubbed, Texas style, and oak smoked for up to 16 hours. We believe BBQ should be like your backyard on the 4th of July!
