The National Anthem was played, followed by the Marines' Hymn. After the opening ceremony, we started the program by commemorative partner Lou Calleja, giving an overview of the commemorative program by highlighting its origins and mission.

We began the pinning ceremony by honoring Marine Veteran Kenneth Harrigan, who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Rendering Honors

A neighbor contacted us and arranged for Mr. Harrigan to be honored. Forty (40) of his neighbors gathered in front of his house to watch the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrigan made a donation to a charity of the detachment's choosing.
