Jimmy Kelly

"Jimmy Kelly" will be deeply missed here, leaving behind now only those fond memories we have of him. Prior to his imminent death, he requested that we do not grieve his death, but rather, celebrate his life. That sounds just like Jimmy, doesn’t it? Even in death, Jimmy still wishes to celebrate life! He always did enjoy life to the fullest, didn’t he? Jimmy's positive outlook on life was most admirable, even contagious some would say. He always had a smile for everyone and was highly regarded by everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet him.

Regardless of the challenges he may have had, everyone who ever had the privilege of working with him, always found Jimmy to be a special pleasure to work with.

Jimmy was an extraordinary person! This is truly a great loss to our Detachment, the Marine Corps League and to our community as a whole. He will be profoundly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Nevertheless, by his own last wishes, let us remember Jimmy each time, with a smile upon our faces.

At this time, the family has requested that there be no phone calls or visits until further notice. Dolores will let us know when the time is right for company and conversations.
