It is with great sadness that I deliver to you the heartbreaking news of the passing of our colleague, friend, and Marine, Jack served in the Marine Corps from Aug. 9th 1961 to Nov. 16th, 1964 acquiring the rank of Private First Class. Jack was an Infantryman (0311/ MOS) and served in Camp Pendelton, Okinawa, Quantico and Portsmouth NH. He was very proud of his time serving our Country and Corps. Jack was a Life Member, and a Pedigreed Devil Dog with Pound #335, where he served as the Quartermaster. It is Jacks plan to pull duty with his friends at Bushnell National Cemetery. "Jack" will be deeply missed here, leaving behind now only those fond memories we have of him. On behalf of the Marine Corps League Detachment 1267 we offer his family, our most heartfelt condolences. At this time, the family has requested that there be no phone calls or visits until further notice. His wife Sandy and daughter Kim, will let us know when the time is right for company and conversations. Cards maybe sent to the Carroll Family at: 917 Camino Del Rey The Villages, Florida 32162
