A Permanent Change of Station has been so directed by: the Supreme Commandant, for the following Marine. "Jack B. Carroll".
It is with great sadness that I deliver to you the heartbreaking news
of the passing of our colleague, friend, and Marine,
Jack served in the Marine Corps from Aug. 9th 1961 to Nov. 16th, 1964
acquiring the rank of Private First Class.
Jack was an Infantryman (0311/ MOS)
and served in
Camp Pendelton, Okinawa,
Quantico and Portsmouth NH.
He was very proud of his time
serving our Country and Corps.
Jack was a Life Member,
and a Pedigreed Devil Dog with Pound #335,
where he served as the Quartermaster.
It is Jacks plan to pull duty with his friends at
Bushnell National Cemetery.
"Jack" will be deeply missed here, leaving behind
now only those fond memories we have of him.

we offer his family, our most heartfelt condolences.
At this time, the family has requested that there be no phone calls
or visits until further notice. His wife Sandy and daughter Kim,
will let us know when the time is right for company and conversations.
