Frederick (Fred) Taylor Coenen, 84, of The Villages FL, passed away on February 20, 2025, in The Villages, FL. Fred was born in Sea Girt, New Jersey to Frederick and Mabel Coenen on July 30, 1940. He went to school in Chester, Pennsylvania. He married his wife, Susan on November 12, 1988, in Dover, Delaware.
He worked and retired from Scott Paper Company.
He was a Veteran of and served in the US Marine Corps.
Fred was involved in the Marine Corps League and MAGA Club.
Fred is survived by his wife Susan, his daughters Sherry Wroten (Brian), Cindy Williams, Laurie Coffin, his son Fred Coenen Jr. (Beth). His grandchildren Zoe, Nicole, Brandon, and Brittany, as well as six great-grandchildren.
No funeral services will be held. Cremated remains will be placed at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Toys for Tots through the
Marine Corps League, Detachment 1267, The Villages Florida.
