I wanted to share with you, something I recently read on a social media site, The words express a heart felt sentiment we can all relate to.

"This week, we celebrate the miracle of America.
Our nation is imperfect, often divided, yet unmatched in what it makes possible.
The only nation on Earth founded not on bloodlines, but on beliefs that freedom is God-given, that rights are unalienable, and that power belongs to the people.
We fight over policy, culture, and what progress really looks like. We argue, loudly.
But the beauty is: we can. Because men and women, who bravely server our country around the world, are willing to lay down their life for your right to speak your mind, even if they disagree with every word you say.
Our military is the most capable force the world has ever known, but service to this country extends to the good works done by exceptional people in ordinary places. It lives in the quiet courage of a police officer on night shift. In the steady hands of a nurse holding the line in a rural ER. In the extra hours a teacher spends helping a child no one else believed in. It lives in the dad who shows up, the coach who never quits, the pastor who prays with the hurting, the mentor who listens, and the neighbor who leans in when things get hard.
That’s America.
It’s not perfect, but it’s ours and it’s worth protecting.
Before the barbecues and fireworks, pause.
We don’t need to agree on everything. But we should agree on this:
Freedom is rare.
Sacrifice is sacred.
And this nation, however imperfect, is still worth loving out loud. 🇺🇸"
