Ride #1
September 27, Sumter County Sheriff's Department and the Lady Lake Police Department are fully escorting the motorcade to the American Legion Post 347 for the Vietnam Gold Star Family Tribute ceremony and luncheon.
Ride #2
Oct 1st motorcade is FHP fully escorted from the Florida/ Georgia border all the way to Hillsborough County Veterans Memorial Park with an unveiling Ceremony on Oct 11.
Ride #3
Oct 31st motorcade is also fully escorted again by FHP for a similar route to Bert's Barracuda Harley Davidson in Pinellas Park.
The two motorcades in October will have rider Ret. Major General James "Hammer" Hartsell riding with the motorcade meeting it at the CR 44 TA stop.(TA is under some inside construction and their bathrooms are currently porta potties, sadly)
Tribute To The Troops riders will escort from the Georgia border and all respectful riders are welcome at the Welcome exit or at the half way stop or even at any point you want to join in safely to the rear of the motorcade (note** all riders are responsible for their own safety at all times).
