I am sorry to report the Marine Jim Johnson, has past away at his home, the day after Christmas.

as I will be in and out with family all day today.


The suggested minimum uniform for the visitation is RED polo and black or kaki trousers, MCL Cover and collars for Devil Dogs.


Jim’s family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to

Toy-for-Tots in Jim’s name. Please contact your Detachment Tots-for-Tots

coordinator on how to make that donation.


I have two boxes of Marine memorabilia that the family would like anyone

who can use it, can have. I will have them at the Pound Growl and Detachment

1267 meeting this month.

The Detachment Color Guard will provide military honors at the Cemetery.


The preferred uniform for the funeral service, at Bushnell is the MCL Casual RED polo and black or kaki trousers, MCL Cover and collars for Devil Dogs uniform, or a suit with RED tie and USMC tie bar.
