Fairway Christian Church is hosting a
National Vietnam War Veterans Day Remembrance Celebration
Our purpose is to honor the men and women who served in the armed forces between November 1955 and May 1975. The goal is simple - to recognize those who served and to say thanks. The Celebration will consist of a posting of the colors, prayer for all who served, recognition of the patriotism of those present, and a time of music. We hope those who attend will leave with a sense that their community appreciates their service and that their time in uniform is not forgotten.
We are asking for your help in reaching the Vietnam Veterans in the community to make them aware of this event. Would it be possible to post a notice of the Remembrance Celebration in your newsletter, bulletin board, meetings, etc.? We can provide flyers and additional information as appropriate. Thank you in advance for helping promote this event. It will be held at our church campus at 8400 E. CR 466, The Villages (Corner of Morse Blvd. and CR 466).
